About Us

The Salcombe Chocolate Academy was only established in July 2009 but the word has spread quickly – this is ‘the’ place to go for premium, lip-smacking chocolate.
 
We are a luxury brand with a strong ethos. Only the highest quality ingredients are used, all of which are sourced locally wherever possible. The chocolate flavor is developed using 70% cacao, which is only supplied by Fair Trade accredited providers.
 
The Academy itself encompasses the Chocaholics Café, which serves hot chocolate, alcoholic beverages, tea, coffee, and fresh, locally made pastries and baguettes. Appropriately entitled an academy, we also provide chocolate truffle-making courses for budding chocolatiers, as well as selling our own high quality, handmade chocolates.
 
From children’s parties, through to stag nights and team building exercises for businesses, our chocolate and truffle making courses are great fun.
